Microcontroller is an electronics word ,the very name of which puts off oldtimers of electronics hobbyists thinking that it is a very high tech item and they would not be able to understand much.Knowledgeable people in this area deliberately make it so with high sounding words like Atmel 8051, PIC, Arduino, Raspberry Pi with still scaring words like assembly/C/C++ programming,data structure, Python,compiler , execution etc.These are actually misnomer and as simple as switching on/off a lamp which any school child can understand with proper guidance.
